FELINE

So it's official. These shoes may as well be surgically attached to my feet for the amount of time I have  spent in them this past week. They are oh so comfortable, work well with almost everything and are just a little bit interesting without freaking people out... I'm no Leandra Medine and Man Repelling is not the aim of my game, but I digress...

on to the main point of this post - to leopard or not to leopard? That is the question.

When asked this question a few years ago I would have been firmly in the second camp as I was accustomed to associate all things leopard or animal print with the T&S (trashy and skanky). However, the Aussie label Ksubi's collection from a few seasons ago changed all that as it seamlessly meshed leather with plaid, denim and you guessed it a rather intoxicating leopard/cheetah/catthing print which all seemed rather haphazard but oh so right.
These pants are the product of my feline musings of late and have proved quite the discussion point. The most awkward part about them would have to be the fact I can't watch TV in them as the print clashes horribly with the sofa's black and white swirl print - the combination is nauseating and not in a good way.

Although I may have mentioned my feelings about Man Repelling ; I have to admit that I am playing around with the idea of jumping on to bandwagon of the hideous Birkenstock i.e. fashion's answer to birth control via repelling. I am starting to find myself thinking of ways they could seamlessly be incorporated into my wardrobe and the possibilities are endless - I'm not sure if its mere delusion or if i've been blinded by the chicness that surounds them at the minute (with everyone from Garance to Pheobe Philo to Rumi Neely donning a pair) but I'm feeling rather convinced. Thoughts?
