(Reformation Lola Dress in White)
Photos by Aurelien Levitan
So here is the final instalment of my shoot feat. The Reformation. The Lola dress is so easy breezy and perfect for the weather in LA, which would be great if I were in LA...but instead I am slowly freezing to death in New York. My aesthetic at the moment is very much taking a turn towards a more care-free and relaxed silhouette that is very bohemian and spring appropriate. I have also been crushing on the idea of all-white looks specifically short white dresses with white low tops (see above for case in point) and white pants paired with white tees and some birks. Something about that undone Daria/Erin Wasson look feels so right at this time of year.
As an aside, just looking at how little I was wearing in these photos makes me shudder as I have just spent the past 2 hours standing outside in below freezing temperatures (-6 celsius) queuing for the original Cronut(R) from the Dominique Ansel Bakery in soho. As ludicrous as it sounds to almost freeze to death for a taste of a croissant/dough-nut hybrid, I am kind of glad that I did it. Needless to say, this whole week of frostbite-inducing weather has made me even more grateful that my home base is in LA.
