SNOW DAY

Merry Christmas to everyone on the other side of the world!
However, for us here in the US it is still Christmas Eve and a ridiculously cold one at that. I've been battling my way through the cold weather this week with the aid of gigantic coats, fluffy sweaters and a plethora of knitted accessories (beanies, scarfs, snoods and gloves.) This fluffy sweater has been in my wardrobe since I took a trip to San Francisco earlier in the year and I wore it almost constantly then - whilst riding the cable car and frolicking in almond orchards. Needless to say its soft and fluffy cloud-like texture and warmth are perfect for these conditions and it has been keeping me comfortable in the snow.
These boots have been a real lifesaver this trip and along with another pair of new boots, make up my fourth of five french wardrobe picks for fall/winter (soon to be posted). They were perfect for making my first snowman and snow angel; although still not quite warm or waterproof enough for this climate they will prove far more practical than a pair of snow boots would in LA.

I'm sorry for disappearing off the grid recently but I have a few uni assessments I am working on at the moment (one definite downside to staying online is that some semesters go right through the holidays!) So between that, christmas shopping, and the fairly challenging weather, outfit post have been very challenging but I promise to step up my game in the New Year.

Happy Holidays! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
