(Zara Silk Slipdress (Similar), COS Gridded T-Shirt, Wanted Plaza Cutout Boots (Similar), Ray Ban Wayfarers)
So...Underwear as outerwear..whose genius plan was that? No but seriously...
I am sure that if my grandma were reading this she would be horrified, but in my opinion its just lucky that we are wearing our undergarments at all, if fashion magazines and celebrities are to pose as any indication of the times. By reading Oyster, Russh or Numero (and at times even the gossip mags), an extraterrestrial being could quite easily deduce that we all wander around earth naked from the waist up, sporting nothing but a beanie, a grimace and a strategically draped plaid shirt to cover our nethers.
So I come to my main point...the reason that I am wearing a sheer slip as a dress and thinking nothing of my slight VPL. There is something ethereal and liberating about feeling the silky softness of a slip in the daytime. It's like wearing your pyjamas out of the house but (I think) looks far more purposeful and fashion-forward - somehow bringing the brilliance of Numero to life without the partial nudity.
Furthermore, if you're feeling a little ill at ease with the VPL issue, just make like me and throw an ever so slightly transparent geoprint tee over it for modesty's sake and call it a day.
Beautiful pictures you look awesome.

the slip dress is a must have. its so versatile and its the best for layering. although im not quite sure i would be able to wear it alone out with nothing over or under it. anyway, you style it perfetly!
