THE ORIGIN OF ALL SKIN THINGS

Prepare yourself...the following post is going to be an ode to the brilliance and perfection that is Origins ...so if you don't like 'em
a. you are crazy
and b. this post probably won't be for you.

To start I would like to say that young or old, oily or dry, red or pasty; origins has a product or two for you. I love that no matter what your skin concern there is a line that will cater to your needs and for that  I am grateful. I am going to tell you a little about my skin so you can work out if these products are going to be right for you because as you all know whats good for the goose isn't necessarily right for the gander...alright I may have appropriated that saying a bit but you get the point.
Anyway...On the whole my skin is pretty normal; I get spotty once a month or after drinking almond milk (but that's a whole other story) and dry when it gets cold out. My fear of eye wrinkles is up there with my fear of small children and the mysterious door closings in Paranormal activity, so I like to use a really nourishing and thick eye cream. Apparently isn't the best thing for my young eyes but I am ignoring that advice. Above all else I am not keen on products that dry out your skin because lets face it... nothing makes you look older than dry and flakey skin.

So here are the products:

1. Origins 'Ginzing' Eye Cream
This cream is a new one for me as I was previously using the eye cream from the plantscription range. I love how moisturising the 'GinZing' is and the almost shimmery effect it has on the eyes. I feel like it instantly lifts and brightens tired eyes. It also doesn't leave much residue so I can quickly move on with the rest of my morning routine.

3. Origins 'Plantscription SPF 25' Anti-Aging Day Cream
The plantscription range is intended for mature skin, which at the age of 20 is probably not the best range for me. However, I do like the thickness of the cream as it was great for the colder months and proved very useful when I was in NY in March and my skin was looking old and tired.

4.  Origins 'Night-A-Mins' Night Cream
This night cream is one that I re-purchase time and time again. It has a great scent and leave my skin feeling great. Waking up in the morning is so wonderful after I've used this product as it is amazingly nourishing and seems to even out any redness overnight.

Once a month us women have to go through a truly awful time with moodiness, spots, cramps and weird cravings ensuing. Luckily I have this mask to even things out when it all gets a bit too much. It dries in about 10 minutes and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped.

Another holy grail product, for me (along with the Night-a-Mins night cream) is this intensive moisture mask. I use this product a couple of times a week instead of my night cream. It's like a thicker and more fruity smelling version of the night-a-mins and is totally awesome.
