CHILDREN OF THE CORN

An afternoon spent running through cornfields and laying in the sun is an afternoon well spent indeed. This Asos dress is a great budget take on everybody's favourite reformation bodysuit - The Avalon Bodysuit and it is an absolute bargain at less than a third of the price!
I honestly couldn't have asked for a better summer; between our camping trip to Devil's Lake, WI (photos to come soon), Lollapalooza and the countless evenings picnicking whilst listening to live music the past few months have been a dream. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to spend so much time here in Chicago and I will seriously miss it when we head back to LA in a couple of days.

TO MARKET

(H&M Skirt and Bag, Forever 21 Curved Hem Top and Necklace, Birkenstock Arizonas, Kontraho Ring, Celine Baby Audrey Sunglasses)

A laid-back outfit for a lazy friday morning walk to the local farmers market to have a flat white coffee with an almond-chocolate croissant and to buy some sourdough bread.

The past few months have been so magical and relaxing here in Chicago's northern suburbs. However, we will be heading back to LA in a few weeks to move apartments, ahead of my month-long trip home to Melbourne in September. I truly feel so lucky to have all these diverse places to call home in different  parts of the world. Although I will miss my little family here, I can't wait to see my family and friends back in Australia, to watch some AFL at the Gee and indulge in everyone's favourite spread (Vegemite). Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi!

WITH HER, HAVING COFFEE

(Ripped Jeans from Melrose Trading Post, Miu Miu Sunglasses, Seed Off-the-shoulder Top, Zara Bag, Kontraho Rings, Birkenstock Arizonas.)

Spending my sunday where I spent my friday could equal a lot of déjà vu, but in this case thankfully didn't... except for the coffees and denim hunt. It's been a while since I've been to the Melrose Trading Post and I finally gave into my desire for another godawful pair of jeans like the above after snooping around Nasty Gal on friday (see above for inspirational blueprint). Currently contemplating DIY'ing the eyelets as the $150 price difference between a shop on Melrose and the flea just doesn't seem right.
