I feel nothing but pity (alright maybe a little green envy too) for the fashion bloggers and models who are headed to/already in NY for fashion week. The bloggers will no doubt battle extreme cold, outfit photos taken in the slushy snow and cab shortages. While the models have endured a week of gruelling castings and fittings and are gearing up for torturous hairstyles, excruciating blisters and a week of very little sleep. Although I may be slightly jealous of those who are in the thick of it, I am glad to be hanging out in sunny LA until I head to NY post fashion-week-madness in a couple of weeks. Although I am looking forward to it, I am realising that my LA wardrobe possibly leaves me even less equipped for NY winter than my Sydney one did. So in the meantime I am making the most of this beautiful weather and enjoying my summery wardrobe and a decent dose of vitamin D before I head back into the #polarvortex.
